Once we get connected, we will use an online, HIPPA compliant, video platform. You will receive an email with a link to our sessions each week which you can click to join on your phone or computer.

The short answer here is yes, absolutely. Studies have shown that telehealth is just as effective as in person therapy and often preferred by many clients for the flexibility it provides. That being said, it really depends on your preference and comfort level.

There are definitely some situations that are more appropriate for in person therapy. If I am concerned for your safety, your privacy or my ability to meet your needs, we will discuss additional care options and resources.

I currently accept Aetna in Alaska. Outside of Aetna, I accept private pay and am able to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider to be considered for reimbursement if your insurance offers out-of-network coverage. Please note that sessions covered by insurance are limited to 60 mins and require a diagnosis to be documented.

My fee for an individual 60 min session is $220 and $275 for an extended 90 min session.

I usually recommend meeting with a few therapists before deciding who feels like the right fit. Beyond that, choosing someone who specializes in what you are going through allows you to truly show up as you are and be met with a therapist who gets it. I have several years of experience working with people who have experienced deep loss and have supported individuals through the healing process after traumatic birth and pregnancy complications.
